The minimum rental duration is of 3 days.
If you’re planning a stay without hookups (water, sewer, electricity), it’s important to prepare a few details to fully enjoy your experience.
Electricity and generator :
In the trailer, the air conditioner, microwave, and electrical outlets run only on electricity. To use them, you’ll need a generator.
We recommend a generator of at least 3,800 watts to power all appliances.
⚠️ Important: Most generators come with a 30-amp Twist-Lock connection. In this case, you will need an adapter to connect the trailer.
The trailer battery usually discharges after 1 to 3 days, depending on usage. Once the battery is empty, nothing in the trailer will work (lights, water pump, furnace, etc.).
A generator is therefore almost essential for any boondocking stay.Fresh water :
Before accessing your campsite, fill up the trailer’s fresh water tank.
Most campgrounds provide a water fill-up station at the entrance.
This tank will supply you with running water (toilet, shower, sink) during your stay.Waste water tanks :
Your gray water tank (sink, shower) and black water tank (toilet) must be emptied:
Most campgrounds have a dump station at the exit.
If not, you’ll need to stop at a dump station before returning the trailer to the dealership.Other things to keep in mind :
Energy saving: use lighting and electrical appliances only as needed to extend battery life.
Propane gas: the refrigerator, stove, and furnace run on propane. Make sure the tanks are open.
Water management: when camping without hookups, monitor your water use to avoid filling the waste tanks too quickly.
